Gynaecological Check-Up
A complete pathway, just for women, for gynaecological prevention. The gynaecological check-up is designed to
monitor women's health and well-being in two specific age groups:
childbearing age and
menopause. The pathway includes specific examinations to evaluate
neoplastic diseases, screening for gynaecological diseases and bone health. It is recommended for patients who have a family history of thyroid and breast diseases or risk factors such as stress, overweight, unregulated diet and smoking.
All examinations are
performed in a single day.
PATIENTS UNDER 50
The check-up is for all patients of childbearing age, or under 50, and includes:
- Blood chemistry and laboratory tests
- Cytological Collection (Pap Test)
- Bilateral Breast Ultrasound
- Bilateral Mammography
- Transvaginal Ultrasound
- Gynaecological visit
PATIENTS OVER 50
The check-up is indicated for women in menopause, or over 50 years of age, and includes:
- Blood chemistry and laboratory tests
- Cytological Collection (Pap Test)
- Bilateral Breast Ultrasound
- Bilateral Mammography
- Supra-aortic Trunks Color Doppler Ultrasound
- Transvaginal Ultrasound
- Total Body X-ray Bone Densitometry
- Specialist visit
